Wine obsession

Would you like to taste the best wines from the South Moravian vineyards? We have prepared a special experience both for wine lovers and for those who are just beginners.

The first part of the trip is a visit to the National Salon of Wines of the Czech Republic, where there are sommeliers in attendance but no limit on the wine consumed. Groups comprised of wine beginners can choose a wine tasting led by a sommelier. He chooses one sparkling wine, four red wines, five white wines and two special wines. The wine tasting is followed by lunch. This could be organized either as a special combination of wine and food, or as simply free time for each participant.

The next part of the program continues with a visit to one of the modern wine enterprises whose wines were represented in the National Salon. There will be a guided tour of the vineyards and the modern winery facilities, followed by a wine tasting. The final part of the trip will be to one of the smaller, traditional winemakers. There aren’t only modern enterprises in the Salon, but also smaller winemakers who have inherited the art of making wine from their ancestors. Therefore we will visit a cellar in one of the old alleyways where the traditional cellars lie clustered together, one after the other, in a way that is so typical of this region. Here it will be possible to taste the wines, and the winemaker will prepare a small buffet too.

We can arrange this trip for you at any time of the year, except February. A tour guide will accompany all our trips. He/she will take care of the guests, answer their questions or translate as required.
